The coping with depression and job loss blog is hardly updated anymore, and the reason for that is simply because I have been so busy with my web business, plus working pretty much full time again.
The simple truth is that when you are busy with things you don’t feel depressed (provided you have a job you like, that is!) and so I really haven’t thought about this blog very much at all.
And so I have made the decision to pretty much stop my occasional updates of this blog, and concentrate all my efforts on the blog at the Yearn2earncash.com website, which I would like you to take a look at if you want to Make Money Online.
If anyone does have any questions or comments that they would like to discuss with me, I would be grateful if they contact me at that website.
Goodbye!

Make a business online - Why you should do so today
Wow has it really been since September that I last updated this blog? How true it is that time flies when you are having fun.
Well perhaps not fun exactly, but the nearest thing I have had to fun in quite some time. This is all down to improvements in my online business.
Although my lifestyle has essentially remained the same during those months since losing my apartment due to the current economic climate, I have started to notice various things that are improving in the virtual world.
Things such as my position in the search engine listings for a few of my targeted keywords. This might sound a little dull to those who still haven’t decided to make a business online, but let me tell you search engine ranking is king when trying to run an online business successfully.
Incidentally, if you did not yet make a business online, then what have you been doing? It does not have to cost you any money, everything can be setup for free using blogs, videos and classified ads, and could be the thing that sets you free from your own life of struggle and work.
Lets face it, the only reason you even found this blog is because you suffer from depression brought on by the (repeated) loss of jobs during the current economic climate, so don’t pretend that the above is not something you secretly crave!
Other things that have improved my outlook on life are the number of people that are subscribing to my emails, and then asking for more information from me. This really gives you a boost to know that people are benefiting from the advice you give them.
I am also being asked for SEO advice through my YouTube channel, and also getting asked on a very regular basis to help others by link exchanges and other ways of link sharing.
All in all more and more people are slowly coming around to seeing the things I can do to help them online, which in turns results in more website traffic for me, and then finally continuous streams of commissions entering my accounts.
Now don’t get me wrong at this stage, I am not trying to fool you into thinking that I am suddenly earning an absolute fortune online and do not have to work a normal job. That is definitely not the case at all; I still do need to work.
However the changes are taking place and if I continue working at my present rate it’s only a matter of time before I will be able to receive enough of an income to essentially retire.
Once I get to that stage I will then have enough time to work at a flat out pace online and really get the money flowing. That might not be the type of preaching you want to hear, but I think that people need to work harder online to really get the most out of the web.
I think that too many people expect to receive an income from the internet without making enough of an effort in return. When they then don’t get the return they expected the call everything a scam and give up, yet the fault really lies with them for not sticking at it when things got tough.
Anyway enough of a post this time. You know what you need to do. Make a business online. Just get something setup yourself. A blog. A YouTube account. Anything. Just get to work, and if you really can’t think of anything, get in touch with me at my website where you can make extra money online and I will give you some help with it.

My next new job
Since the last post two things have happened. One is that I lost my old job (apparently, though it was never officially confirmed as no one could be bothered to phone me, so I decided I could not be bothered to phone them)
That might sound crazy, but when I tell you that you only got to work each day if they phoned you to tell you to go in, you will see that it was a crappy job anyway, and not really worth having.
That job (as with all the jobs I take) is only until my internet business receives the amount of exposure that I want for it, and so shortly if current growth continues, I will not need any job.
The second thing that has happened since my last post was that I got a surprise new job.
I had been in touch with an agency by email, who suddenly decided to ask me (at 8.15pm) by email if I could start at 6am the next day for their client.
Some might consider that a little short notice, but that’s the way these crappy jobs go, and at least it will be regular work, and a regular income to invest in my internet business.
So my advice to anyone reading this is simple - you never know what’s going to turn up, and so no matter how down you feel about things, there is always hope.
There is always the chance of another new job cropping up, and although most of the work is only casual agency work, it is still an income that you can use to invest in yourself and your business.
Even if you only use the money to spend on yourself or your family to make yourself feel better for a while - I think you will get a buzz out of it, and this might just lead to extra confidence, which in turn can lead to wonderful things!
When you feel better about things (even something as simple as having a different job that you don’t hate as much as the last one!) you can find that you feel more able to achieve other things.
You feel as though things that were previously out of reach are somehow more obtainable and as though you can make a difference to your life.
You feel as though you can change your lot in life. It is not right to simply accept the hand that fate dealt you, which is why I am asking you to try and be more than you thought you could be.
I want you to listen to some music for me. I want you to listen to the music of DANIELLE MERCIER on YouTube, and remember that name, as she will soon be a big star herself.
She writes her own songs from the heart and plays them on the guitar and the piano. It can take a lot of courage to just upload a video of yourself playing a song and singing away without any of the equipment that the professionals use to influence the audio.
So the next time you wonder if you have the strength to do something, remember Danielle.

About to be made unemployed again?
The new job soon to be the old job?
Just a short post this time. It turns out that my new job, which I still don’t really hate yet surprisingly, is about to go the way of the old job.
It seems that they have a long quiet spell from October to January where there is very little work to be done, and all the full time employees return to the site, pretty much leaving the agency staff with nothing much to do.
What this means is that most of the agency staff (if not all!) will be laid off, and have to find jobs elsewhere. As its going to be a three month lay off, it is unlikely that many will return, as they will want to find work that is more reliable.
The problem with this new job, is that even during the week when it’s busy, you never really know day to day when you will be in work or when they are going to say that they don’t need you.
So I am rapidly losing any enthusiasm for this job, and probably will start to dislike my last weeks there. But as we are about to lose the job anyway, does it really matter?
So as I keep on saying to anyone that will listen, firstly you must try and find a job you don’t hate, and then secondly you must just try and keep it for as many weeks as possible.
Even when you know (like with my job) that it’s a waste of time just keep on going with it until something better comes along.
And remember, all of this is only until you can get your online business up and running successfully!
